“Wanting to improve my knowledge and understanding of how to successfully grow a wider range of species, I recently went along to the Harrogate Orchid Society meeting at RHS Harlow Carr. I received a warm, friendly greeting and found all members of the Group to be welcoming of a keen novice. The talk about British Orchids and their habitats gave great insight into our native species and the display of a wide selection of flowering orchids, grown by members, was both beautiful and inspiring. I am happily now a member and look forward to future meetings: I have no doubt that my keen interest will soon be a passion!”
