 The Society holds its Annual Show in conjunction with RHS Harlow Carr in their Bramall Learning Centre. This is where the Society showcases its member’s plants alongside Societies from across the Midlands and North  of England. Plants are judged to RHS standards during Saturday morning before opening to the public. Not all members grow to achieve such high standards: many grow just for the love of orchids and are happy to add their plants to each Society’s display. This is an opportunity to see some spectacular, and even rare, species.

The Show also includes potting demonstrations and there are plenty of people around to offer advice on how to grow orchids, whether you grow in a greenhouse or in the home. Plus, you have the chance to purchase plants from several specialist orchid nurseries. So come along and enjoy a wonderful visual and fragrant display.
