Enjoy our monthly meetings.
We are a friendly society who offer a big welcome to new members.
The membership subscripton is £25.00 per year and covers a single or double membership for a couple living at the same address. We meet at the Royal Horticultural Society Gardens at Harlow Carr Harrogate in the modern facilites of the Bramall Learning Centre and also Pool Village Hall.

This year our Annual Show will be held in conjunction with our Orchids for Everyone Weekend
on the Saturday and Sunday 2nd and 3rd of August 2025 at RHS Harlow Carr
in all rooms at The Learning Centre.

Thank you for visiting our web site. Perhaps you have just bought your first orchid or have been given one as a present, you may have a few on your windowsill or you may be an experienced grower with a number of years experience. What ever your interest in orchids this society will be pleased to welcome you. Why not come to one or two of our meetings, you do not need to join the society initially to do this.

What are the benefits of joining the Harrogate Orchid Society?
The annual subscription of £25.00 includes single or double membership for a couple living at one address.
You will be meeting people with an interest even a passion for growing orchids.
There will be many different orchids to see.
Advice will be available on how to care for your plant’s and dealing with pests and diseases.
We have visiting speakers.
Two plant forums are held each year and include demonstrations on how and when to repot orchids.
Included in your subscription is free use of our extensive library which contains over one hundred titles ranging from books suitable for orchid growers just starting in the hobby and others who specialise in one or two genera.
The society also attends and exhibits at about eight orchid shows a year. At the shows there is an opportunity to buy orchid plants potting composts etc.
